Demi: During my internship at Iceshop, I embarked on an exciting professional experience as a marketing intern. Although my initial role was focused on assisting Icecat with its marketing activities, I immediately embraced the opportunity to also contribute to Iceshop’s marketing content. Together with Yoana, we were entrusted with the responsibility of creating informative blog posts and engaging LinkedIn content twice a week.
Working for Iceshop proved to be a smooth experience, but not without its initial challenges. In the beginning, my primary difficulty was comprehending Iceshop’s unique solutions and effectively promoting them. To overcome this challenge, I thoroughly studied Iceshop’s solutions and asked for guidance when specific questions were raised. The knowledge I gained through this process has allowed me to promote Iceshop’s solutions with pride and confidence.
Nevertheless, my time at Iceshop was also marked by exciting achievements! Along with Yoana’s efforts, we witnessed the impact of our work on lead generation and brand awareness growth. In addition, I had the opportunity to develop my feedback skills, recognizing the invaluable role constructive criticism plays in fostering effective communication.

Reflecting upon my internship experience at Iceshop, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the company’s marketing efforts. In addition, engaging in brainstorming sessions with this dynamic group was a personal highlight. During those meetings, everyone could unleash their creativity and think collectively. Overall, I am eager to take the valuable lessons and experiences from my time at Iceshop with me as I move forward in my professional plans.
Working Within a Diverse Team
Yoana: During my recent internship at Icecat, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the dynamic world of online retail and product content solutions. Over the course of five months, the exposure to real-world scenarios and interactions with industry professionals have equipped me with valuable skills and insights that will undoubtedly benefit me in my future endeavours.
The constant influx of new projects and evolving priorities demanded a flexible mindset and the ability to quickly pivot between tasks. Initially, adjusting to this rapid pace posed a challenge, but as time progressed, I became adept at managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. As an intern, I encountered a steep technical learning curve in understanding the complex systems and tools employed in the e-commerce industry. This required self-study, seeking guidance from colleagues, and proactively engaging in online resources. Over time, my technical proficiency improved, enabling me to contribute more effectively to the team’s objectives.
One of the achievements was my involvement in planning and executing marketing campaigns both for Icecat and Iceshop. I collaborated closely with our marketing team, assisting in content creation, social media management, and analysing campaign performance. This experience provided me with hands-on exposure to various marketing strategies, audience targeting techniques, and data analysis tools.
